Extended frame rates.
The new G2 chip inside the GoPro HERO10 offers a noticeable increase in frame rates at higher resolutions. Record up to 60 fps at 5.3k, a slightly higher resolution and twice as many fps as the HERO9, up to 120 fps at 4k and up to 240 fps at 2.7k.

Sharper image quality.
In addition to the resolution increase from 5k to 5.3k for video recording, the HERO10 can now capture still images at 23MP. HyperSmooth 4.0 image stabilization ensures more stable footage without the use of a gimbal. When you need additional support, this GoPro is compatible with the same hinge-style accessories as previous GoPro's and doesn't require a frame or housing thanks to mounting fingers that slide into the bottom of the housing.

Broadcasting 1080p.
Use the GoPro HERO10 as a webcam with 1080p streaming capabilities. Once connected to the cloud, images can be uploaded while you're filming so you're always covered. However, with only one USB-C input and no additional video or audio input/output, your connectivity options are limited.
Same application and shooting options.
GoPro's smartphone apps remain largely unchanged for the HERO10 camera and offer familiar features such as Hypersmooth stabilization, TimeWarp, HDR photos and time-lapse video while allowing users to control shooting modes such as burst and scheduled capture. Photos can still be captured in GoPro's JPEG or RAW format.
