- The Sony a7R IV continues the remarkable series of photo oriented Sony Alpha: the "R" series (for Resolution).
- This fourth edition of the a7R includes the inclusion of an updated 61MP sensor along with improved AutoFocus performance and a more comprehensive feature set for high-end photo and video applications. Shooting at up to 10 fps is now possible with 4K30 UHD video recording. The A7R IV is also updated with more robust weather sealing, the OLED electronic viewfinder has been upgraded to 5.76 million dot resolution, plus the 3-inch rear tilting LCD touchscreen now has a high resolution of 1.44 million dots.
